The F6701 flanged deep groove ball bearing is a widely used ultra-thin miniature bearing belonging to the 6700 thin-wall series. It adopts an integrated outer ring flange design, providing accurate axial positioning without circlips or retaining rings. This structure simplifies assembly, saves installation space and improves structural stability for compact precision equipment.
We provide 3 seal configurations: F6701 Open, F6701ZZ double metal shields, F6701-2RS double rubber seals. 5 industrial-grade materials are available: Chrome Steel GCr15, 420 Stainless Steel, 440 Stainless Steel, 304 Stainless Steel, 316 Stainless Steel, fully covering dry, dusty, humid, salt spray and mild chemical corrosion working environments.
F6701 Seal Type Introduction And Application
1. F6701 Open (No Shield)
Open structure with no friction resistance loss, delivering the highest limiting speed. It allows convenient secondary lubrication and features lightweight and flexible operation. Suitable for clean, fully enclosed and lubricated indoor environments. Not dustproof or waterproof, exclusively for high-speed precision internal transmission mechanisms.
2. F6701ZZ (Double Metal Shields)
Non-contact double steel shields effectively block dust, particles and debris. Pre-greased for maintenance-free operation, retaining excellent high-speed performance. It is only dust-proof, not waterproof. Ideal for dry indoor equipment such as micro motors, 3D printers, office automation and precision toys.
3. F6701-2RS (Double Rubber Seals)
Contact rubber lip seals achieve full protection against dust, moisture, water splash and oil pollution. It locks internal grease steadily to extend service life, with slight friction increase and reduced speed. Perfect for humid workshops, light outdoor scenes and equipment requiring long-term stable operation.
Material Performance And Application Scenarios
1. Chrome Steel GCr15 (AISI 52100)
Features: High hardness (HRC60-64), outstanding wear resistance and load capacity, low noise and high cost performance. Shortage of poor rust resistance.
Applications: Preferred for dry industrial working conditions, widely used in micro DC motors, precision transmission parts, automation equipment and optical instruments.
2. 420 Stainless Steel
Features: Hardenable martensitic stainless steel with basic anti-rust performance, good toughness and magnetism. It is the most cost-effective anti-corrosion bearing material.
Applications: Suitable for mildly humid environments, home appliances, light-duty precision devices and cost-sensitive anti-rust projects.
3. 440 Stainless Steel (440C)
Features: Highest hardness and wear resistance (HRC58-62) among common stainless steel bearings, with balanced corrosion resistance and load capacity, magnetic and durable.
Applications: Industrial universal anti-rust grade, suitable for food machinery, medical devices, light salt spray environments and medium-speed & medium-load precision equipment.
4. 304 Stainless Steel
Features: Excellent moisture and weak acid & alkali resistance, non-magnetic and food-grade hygienic performance. Non-hardenable with low hardness and poor wear resistance, not for high-speed heavy-load use.

5. 316 Stainless Steel
