7008 Angular Contact Ball Bearing | 7008C / 7008AC / 7008B
The 7008 angular contact ball bearing is a widely used single-row high-precision bearing, designed to withstand combined radial and axial loads. It features low friction, low noise and stable high-speed operation, ideal for precision transmission and industrial automation systems. Available in three contact angle variants (7008C, 7008AC, 7008B) and two material grades, this bearing works reliably in standard dry, humid and mildly corrosive working environments.
Difference Between 7008C, 7008AC and 7008B
7008C (15° Contact Angle): Comes with a 15° contact angle, delivering minimal friction and superior high-speed performance. It provides high rotational precision with moderate axial load capacity, best suited for high-speed spindles and precision high-speed machinery.
7008AC (25° Contact Angle): Features a 25° contact angle with balanced radial and axial load capacity. With stable composite load performance and great versatility, it is the universal cost-effective choice for most precision industrial equipment.
7008B (40° Contact Angle): Adopts a 40° large contact angle for enhanced axial load resistance. It efficiently bears heavy axial thrust at low and medium speeds, perfect for equipment with offset loads and heavy axial force.
Material Differences: Bearing Steel vs Stainless Steel
Bearing Steel (GCr15): GCr15 bearing steel is the standard material for 7008 series bearings. After precise heat treatment, it offers high hardness, excellent wear resistance and strong fatigue resistance, ensuring stable precision and long service life in conventional dry industrial conditions.
Stainless Steel: Stainless steel 7008 bearings provide outstanding rust-proof and anti-oxidation performance. They resist moisture, humid air and minor contamination, preventing precision loss and corrosion failure, suitable for food machinery, medical devices and high-humidity sanitary environments.
Product Features
Capable of bearing combined radial and axial loads. Three contact angle options cover high-speed, universal and heavy axial load working conditions. High precision, smooth rotation and low-noise operation. Dual material designs balance cost performance and corrosion resistance. Standard size structure supports easy installation and replacement.
Application Scenarios
7008 series angular contact ball bearings are widely used in precision motors, machine tool spindles, industrial pumps, compressors, instrumentation and automation precision machinery. Bearing steel models apply to conventional indoor industrial equipment; stainless steel versions fit damp, sanitary and light corrosive scenarios. 7008C for high-speed precision operation, 7008AC for general universal use, and 7008B for heavy axial load equipment.
